SM Prime Holdings Inc. has launched the first phase of its redevelopment of Susana Heights Village in Muntinlupa City, targeting growing demand from families seeking properties that can be passed down to future generations.
The project is being undertaken through Signature Series by SM Residences, the property giant’s premium residential unit, which reported strong demand for lots since resuming sales late last year.
Many of our buyers are acquiring properties for their children who are now raising families of their own. They see Susana Heights as a place where the next generation can put down roots and a long-term asset that can remain in the family,
said Jose Juan Jugo, executive vice president and head of Signature Series.
Susana Heights, an established residential estate in southern Metro Manila, is known for its spacious lots, mature greenery and direct access to the South Luzon Expressway through a dedicated interchange.
As part of the redevelopment, SM Prime has tapped international design firm Perkins & Will to oversee South Plaza and future estate improvements, Greener & Partners for North Plaza, and Inspira Design Core for landscape planning.
The project includes two low-rise retail plazas outside the residential area, offering dining, services and social spaces while limiting additional traffic within the neighborhood.
SM Prime also plans to upgrade the estate’s main clubhouse, indoor basketball and tennis courts, fitness facilities, social hall and chapel.
